Account Manager Industrial Oils
Based in Rotterdam - The Netherlands
As Account Manager Industrial Oils, you have solid and in-depth knowledge of the different applications of refined oils and fats. In order to keep this knowledge and level of expertise up to date, you will actively contact, visit and build strong relationships with existing and potential new customers, mainly in Germany and the Benelux area. You will lead our internal technical segment.

Become a trusted advisor
In our technical segment, you are the professional who has all the knowledge of our refined oils and fats applications.
Conduct market research
Based on information from different surveys, you analyse market changes, opportunities, and customer’s competitors activity.
Develop marketing and sales plans
You create and develop your own marketing and sales plans. The geographic marketing and technical marketing segmentation are key in this aspect.
Maintain and build strong relationships with customers
You ensure a volume growth in your current customer portfolio. In addition, you are also responsible for generating new business.
Initiate customer projects in order to support continuous business growth
In consultation with the Regional Manager, you run various projects and campaigns in order to support your current customers, and attract and engage new ones.
Add value to our customers’ businesses
Your technical knowledge about the products of Olenex will be an added value to our business.
For this position we are looking for a colleague with experience on technical applications of refined oils and fats. You have completed a chemical or biochemical education and you have at least 5 years of experience as Account Manager, Application Specialist or Business Development Manager. Given the International nature of Olenex a good command of the English language is required (Dutch and German is an advantage).
