Customer Service Executive
Based in Rotterdam
As our business is operating in an environment that changes constantly, the Customer Service desk is continuously adapting its structure to match the needs of the company. As a Customer Service Executive, order handling, invoice correction and related business for all our customers’ base are part of your daily job. You handle customers’ requests throughout the Supply Chain Outbound and voice-back important information towards the Sales team and other departments. You will be the dedicated contact person of customers for everything that relates to their loadings/deliveries.
You are the first point of contact for our customers regarding to customers’ logistics. You communicate with customers in case of supply disruption of the outbound flow and handle any complaints related to logistics or contract application issues. You will maintain contact with the Sales department and inform them in a timely manner about specific issues regarding the customer.
Your primary task will be the handling of new orders and to check the contract availability. You are also responsible for updates and changes of any existing orders into our ERP system. You will create reports to support our Sales department.
Customer order patterns and supply chain metrics need to be analysed, to look for solutions and optimize them. Ensuring reconciliation of open contracts with customers.
Customer complaints related to logistics or contract execution issues need to be registered and handled, seeking to avoid these in the future.
You work close with other departments such as Sales, Outbound Planning and Logistics. There is also a close cooperation with our Logistic Service Provider on the loading and delivery schedule. From time to time you will assist colleagues on visits to customers or business partners.
For this position we are looking for a colleague who is a real team player, has a commercial attitude and a high level of accuracy. You have experience in a service driven B2B environment in a commodity company. You have the ability to cope with stress and unpredictable situations. Given the International nature of Wilmar an excellent command of the English language is required (Italian, Spanish or French is an advantage).
